Haier Wine Cooler

Okay, a Haier wine cooler... not sure where to begin with this company as they are so huge. When I first started to research them to assist you with your wine storage problems, there were sites literally all over the world to choose from. Of course I settled with the American portion of the Haier company as I'm sure you wouldn't want to purchase one direct from China.... imagine the shipping! From what I have gathered they have been around since 1999, which doesn't seem like a long time to become one of the world's leading appliance corporations. The original actual Haier Group was founded in 1984 and then spread out worldwide with products delivered in over 100 countries. I could go on about this but all we're interested in is what kind of wine coolers do they have and are they any good. A Haier wine cooler comes in a varied assortment of built in, free standing and countertop units along with a nice assortment of colors and designs. While they have heavy duty compressor cooled units, I was a little shocked to find some of their larger coolers are actually thermoelectric wine coolers. This is a great find for the larger wine collector as thermoelectric is much more efficient and definitely more gentle with your wines. There isn't any vibration to disturb possible sediment in the bottles due to the lack of moving parts.The exterior fabrication is typical of most wine cooler manufacturers except for the finishing touches like handles, glass and thermometers. These are solid machines that are built to last and of course are priced that way too. You can always go out and get a cheap wine cooler that may last a few years but always remember, you always get what you pay for. I've always believed in that saying, "treat your wine well and it will serve you well', or something like that. My thoughts on the Haier wine coolers are favorable as I believe these products are on the upper end of the quality scale.
