Most people have heard of or seen Danby wine coolers and appliances in their travels mostly due to the fact they are one of the biggest home appliance manufacturers in North America. This company has been around since 1947, so experience certainly is not a problem. If you see the brand names Silhouette, Diplomat or Simplicity you are looking at an appliance sold by Danby; no wonder they have over 1,500 service centers. Of course the only appliance you are concerned about on this site are the Danby wine coolers. For a wine storage cooler and our research we have found a 17 bottle wine cooler and up to a 166 bottle built in wine cooler available under the various Danby manufacturer brand names. Due to the fact that Danby is such a large company they have a great variety of choices all the way from a countertop cooler to huge wine cellar coolers. Of course they have the thermoelectric and compressor cooled units along with wood racks in the higher end models. Most of the units have a black cabinet and either a black, platinum or stainless steel door frame. Colors don't appear to be a factor in their designs yet all units are very attractive no matter what size they are.I would say Danby wine coolers would be a safe bet for your next purchase due to the 60 year age of the company and also the huge amount of service centers which makes having warranty work done very convenient.
