About a Bar Wine Cooler?
Is the bar wine cooler really just for bars? It's easy to hear the term, "bar wine coolers" and think of specialty coolers. (not the drinking kind) In fact the bar part is just a term very loosely used and associated with alcohol. Since you are reading this no doubt you have used the term to find that just right cooler. Instead of looking for a brand that says it is specifically for bars you really should be looking for the right size, not the right brand. Normally with bar space, as you are probably well aware, you can be limited to the size and design. The ideal way is to design the bar around the cooler but, like the rest of us, your bar was probably built without any thought regarding wine bottle storage, never mind the temperature too. Knowing that a bar wine cooler is just a term really opens up your choices now. What a relief... go to your existing bar or blue print for the new one and start doing some calculations. There are so many sizes for bar wine coolers available, you need to decide if you want it built in, on the counter, under the counter, overhead and even on the wall. That opens up the ideas and should get you in gear. Finding a wine cooler with the right dimensions may be a daunting project with the wide variety out there but it is definitely possible and just think of all the fun you can have learning about them. One other key element they you need to consider is the electrical supply location. No outlet means no chilled wine and that is a depressing thought, so as you can see this is very important when it comes to electric wine coolers. One other thought if bar space is really a problem, consider using a free standing unit that doesn't need to be attached to your bar. These can also be installed in a closet if necessary but an upper cupboard would be more idealistic if avaiable near the bar.
